Let Us Be Imitators of God As Dear Children

When Exercising one’s imagination to make our dreams a reality, we must be like children, now what do I mean by that?  I mean we should be totally immersed in the imagining experience. We must habitually experience in imagination what we want to experience in our life;. create the inner feeling of the wish fulfilled. Grown up and adulterated we’ve become condition by rational thinking this is why so many find it difficult to trust their imagination. However, to consciously manifest our desires it’s absolutely necessary to believe what we’re imagining is “real” this is magical belief of faith. Over and over again the sages of the past have instructed us that believing in the unseen(faith) must be cultivated., this is how you untap your power of creation, this is how you succeed.

There is a great scene in the movie Hook that illustrates this point beautifully. In the film Robin Williams plays a grown-up Peter Pan who returns to Never Never land. He is sitting down with the kids; the Lost Boys and they’re playing around and having a banquet at the table.

Peter Pan, because he’s grown up and has allowed his imagination atrophy, is starved because he can’t imagine any food. He’s getting more and more frustrated. Finally, he starts to play along and begins to trust his imagination again, when he does the whole table pops into view, filled with all assortments of food. He goes on to have a massive feast.

There is a powerful mystical lesson in this small scene. Just like the grown-up Peter Pan we too have allowed our imagination to atrophy, metaphorically we may be sitting at the table of life experiencing lack due to rational thinking, but once we start to embrace the concepts and are willing to trust our imagination again a new reality appears. Just like Peter Pan in this example we too can remember again to imagine as a child. Rather than experiencing lack, instead we can feast on abundance in life. So simple yet really profound.

“However much you seem to be living in a material world, you are actually living in a world of imagination”. NEVILLE GODDARD

The Challenge That Adults Face:

Isn’t the difficulty that most adults face when untapping this power is to let go of their old prevailing paradigms. So often it’s a struggle to loosen the ego’s grip on what we discern to be possible. You see as you begin to exercise the power of your mind, recognize that you will have come to the process preloaded with limiting beliefs about yourself and your ability to affect your life. Even though, we can imagine anything, it’s the believing part where we often get stuck!

Probably your upbringing like mine was one where imagination did not play a big part. “See things as they are” or, “forget about imagining that’s kids’ stuff!”  “Want something in life you have to work hard for it.”. Does any of this sound familiar? That was what I was brought up to believe as a child. Well, the challenge to you now is to abandon that old modality and embrace something infinitely more powerful; to imagine and to believe.

Can you accept that everything contained in imagination is available to you? Your imagination is God in action are you able to internalize this truth.? As Yoda said to Luke Skywalker “you must unlearn, what you have learnt”. The question is can you do that? Because if you are able to trust this aspect of you, that is infinitely more intelligent than your ego mind; then your most coveted desires can be yours.

To awaken this faculty, you must go back to those childhood days when you use to imagine and pretend play. When you were able to conjure up a world of make belief and fully immerse yourself in it. Yes make believe, because as a child that’s precisely how you saw it, you were able to believe in your imagination. Now right now your intellectual mind might be saying this is all fairy-tale and lollipops. Well before you make a decision read on.

You Think You Know It All Think Again!

Tony Buzan “Scientists must still admit that the total sum of the knowledge of our human mind is still less than 1 percent of what is there to know.”

In my articles and books what I’m trying to do, is to stir you the reader to challenge your ego’s rule by presenting you with thought provoking arguments and questions. All the information is available to you, it’s all out there online, it’s whether the truth seeker in you, really wants to discover the phenomena of life. Just what is the cause of it all? What really is the cause of my life experiences?  I want you to realize that the limited carnal mind can only take you so far, it’s as I said so many times before in your imagination there your infinite potential resides.

Now, The world and the universe are overwhelmingly complex and unpredictable. Consider for example our environment alone, its affected by countless factors and dimensions. which in turn has infinite interpretations. Even in these small surroundings we have limited capacity to decipher, correlate and predict every outcome. When you really think about it, it’s almost impossible to have a clear comprehension of exactly what is going on. Yet with such a limited perspective we still believe we know everything that’s going on.

For example, what’s visible and invisible in our universe, if I asked you to look around the room you’re in right now, did you know as human beings we see only a tiny fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum. So, in your immediate environment you can have a minute perception of what is actually there. But unless you are clinically blind, if i asked you “can you see everything in your surroundings?” you’d almost certainly reply in the affirmative.

“Consider that you can see less than 1% of the electromagnetic spectrum and hear less than 1% of the acoustic spectrum…. The existence of the rainbow depends on the conical photoreceptors in your eyes; to animals without cones, the rainbow does not exist. So, you don’t just look at a rainbow, you create it. This is pretty amazing, especially considering that all the beautiful colors you see represent less than 1% of the electromagnetic spectrum.” Sergio Toporek

When you really begin to examine things we really don’t know that much at all! Nevertheless, because we have a low tolerance to uncertainty, we try to dispel uncertainty as soon as possible. It’s a fear of the unknown that brings about insecurity, hesitation and in some case anxiety.

The rational thinker must have those six perceptual questions addressed to feel confident in what they are doing. (how, what, where, when, who, why) To avoid not knowing we spend fortunes on consultants pretending to know, over analyze or in most cases deny and avoid stepping out of our comfort zones. Yet this approach will not bring miracles into your life. This will not enable you to achieve greatness, to overcome obstacles that were once thought impossible.

It’s no wonder why when we are challenged to abandon the need to have “all the answers” that man finds it difficult. To imagine and then trust in an unseen power goes against the very nature of rational thinking. But it’s what we must do if we are to unleash the infinite power within to imagine and create our desires.

“Most people fear the unfathomable because they realize they do not have control over that for this reason people, by all means try to avoid the unknown” Dr Bruno Cignacco

Always Trying To Control The Narrative

Centuries of philosophical and scientific studies one would have thought that we mankind would accept how little we know and therefore be more willing to acquiesce to the Divine within. Yet despite all this the ego has to believe it knows it all, in an eagerness to make things understandable we have experts in the numberless fields of studies, books, workshops, scientific disciplines..

“Given that we are only aware of 2000 bits of information out of the 400 billion bits of information we are processing per second when we argue against new knowledge how much of our “awareness” is arguing. How can we know everything about all the things we don’t know?” What The Bleep Do We Know.

I can’t tell you how liberating it was when I began to let go and really put my trust in my imagination. Often in the past I would super impose my limited perspective on how a thing or situation would manifest. Not realizing that in doing so, I was stifling the very thing I desired from expressing. This does take practice, and like I said before, aren’t we taught to have all the facts before we make a decision.

Now I trust my imagination to externalize my wishes and allow a bridge of incidents to unfold, experience has taught me this. The more times I let go and surrender to the process I would have to stand back and marvel at the desires route of expression. I challenge you to let your imagination rule over our logic, because in the grand scheme of things; we really don’t know that much anyway.

Time To Empty Your Cup

I started this article with a challenge to you; to let go of your pre-concepts and to try to abandon yourself to the process, just as a child would. And I know too many this might be difficult. Do what I did by all means, which was to study, research and acquire as much knowledge about this Law and the potential of my imagination as I could but eventually I had to abandon myself to the process to really get results.

Here’s a final thought I’d like to leave you with. There’s a wonderful story that illustrates the point:

A learned man once went to visit a Zen teacher to inquire about Zen. As the Zen teacher talked the learned man frequently interrupted to express his own opinion about this or that.

Finally, the Zen teacher stopped talking and began to serve tea to the learned man. He poured the cup full, then kept pouring until the cup overflowed.

“Stop,” said the learned man. ” The cup is full, no more can be poured in.”

“Like this cup you are full of your own opinions ” replied the Zen teacher. “If you do not first empty your cup, how can you taste my cup of tea?”

As you look around you, you will see that many people are not even interested in these ideas, some are open and pay attention and then some are deep divers, truth seekers. We are all on a path to ascension to a realization of our true divine self. The more devoted and committed you are the quicker you can tap into the infinite power of your imagination. Listen to your inner guidance and let it lead you.
