Neville Goddard State Akin To Sleep
The State Akin To Sleep is a term pioneered by Neville Goddard.I believe Neville coined the phrase “State Akin to Sleep”(SAT) because it was the simplest way to describe the hypnotic state to people of his era.
Nowadays there is wider knowledge of the means for self-induced hypnotic states such as meditation, self hypnosis, and progressive relaxation. The Betty Erickson 123 method is one such method I’ve employed with great success.
Now falling asleep at bedtime to the wish fulfilled while in the pre-sleep state is ideal, but Neville himself mentioned going into a similar state while seated in an armchair, presumably during normal waking hours. To do SATs correctly all that is necessary is to learn and practice meditation, or self hypnosis, or progressive relaxation, and/or a combination of all 3.
Simple but extremely powerful by applying this process one is able to tap into the limitless power of the subconscious mind The Infographic below simplifies this often misunderstood concept.Download
